Previously, Diksha was a Consultant at Government of Chhattisgarh and also held positions at UNICEF, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Aadar, Disney Television Animation, Project Dastaan, iluvia, Holy Cross Women's College Ambikapur.

Diksha received a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degree from Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and AYUSH University and a Master of Public Health - Master in Public Health from Jindal School of Public Health and Human Development.
